The Goddess Who Dove Through the Sapphire & Emerald Door ... continued ...
Creation Goddess danced upon the waves, another jewel she carried emerged, the jewel of singing. Her voice rose from within her, just as she had risen from the bottom of the Sea, and then her voice streamed down through the blues and greens, into the radiant circle where Sun sat listening. Rise with me, she sang to Sun, and Sun loved Goddess, and Sun rose through the waters. Sun rose through Goddess and Goddess bathed Sun in songs of love, and Sun sang his diamond song with great joy, and was born from the Goddess. Sun was born from the Goddess into the salty, foamy air, into the lapis lazuli Sky, and his light shone everywhere. And Goddess and Sun embraced the jewel of singing.I love you, they sang to the jewel of song inside themselves, inside each other, inside all beings seen and unseen, and the jewel of song awoke and came alive and the Goddess and Sun began to sing!
On the surface of the Sea, where all had been silent, all now hummed, and swelled, and was evanescent with the voice of the Goddess and the voice of the Sun. The Radiant Beings Earth and Sea sang in their realms at the bottom of the Oceans of Earth, but this was the first song upon the sapphire and emerald waves. A song born from the harmonious love between the succulent Goddess and the fiery Sun. Creation Goddess and the Sun had been lovers in the infinite, invisible, timeless space. Lovers that couldn’t meet in the jewels of their bodies, but now they could. Now they could meet. Now they could join. Through the sacred union of their song. As Goddess and Sun sang, they fell deeper and deeper in love with each other. That meant, they fell deeper and deeper in love with the jewel of their song. As they fell deeper and deeper in love with the jewel of their song in each other’s arms, Sun rose higher and higher above the waters. Sun danced farther and farther across the Magnificent Oceans of Earth. Creation Goddess had to let go of Sun. The Goddess had to descend to the waters again. For that was what she’d promised. That was where the song of her soul called her. But that was not easy for the Goddess. Yet, as she watched Sun rise from her, she danced upon the waves.
On the surface of the Sea where the Goddess danced, suddenly the waves shimmered with iridescent colors – pink, yellow, purple, rose, scarlet and orange. And Creation Goddess knew it was the opalescent Moon rising from the bottom of the Sea.
Creation Goddess welcomed her, and Moon began to rise through Goddess. Moon poured her opalescence of sounds, rhythms, messages, poems like a rainbow fountain through the Goddess. This is what Moon had promised she would do in the infinite, invisible timeless space. Moon would give the Goddess her invincible language of opalescent light, the poetry of knowing what is true,so that the Goddess would always know her truth. For Creation Goddess had known, once she left the infinite, invisible, timeless space, there was the possibility of forgetting who she really was, and she had asked her most authentic friend Moon, for the gift of her wisdom.
Long ago, Moon had told many lies and deceived many beings, and that had made her very sad and troubled. But Moon had changed. Moon was transformed. Moon was reborn. Moon was new, even when she was full. She was opalescent. She carried the rays of rebirth and transformation, and shone it on all beings. Now, being true to herself and others was what Moon most loved being. That was what she most wanted to awaken and come alive in this sapphire and emerald world.
Moon rose like a fountain through the Goddess. Moon was born from the Goddess into her hands, and light rushed from her hands. Moon was fuller than before, for now in her opalescent light there glowed the fertile, lush radiance of Goddess. The Goddess and the Moon embraced a jewel floating in the light pouring through the Goddess’ hands, the jewel of writing, and they began to write with this light in the salty, foamy air, in the lapis lazuli Sky. I love you, they wrote to the jewel of writing inside themselves, inside each other, inside all beings seen and unseen, and the jewel of writing awoke and came alive!
As they wrote, something wondrous happened. All at once the opalescent light breathed Sky in, and Sky breathed with it. Then, the fertile, lush, opalescent radiance breathing near Creation Goddess’ hands began to quiver, pulse, metamorphose. Creation Goddess and Moon watched as the first poetry became the first Birds! The Birds were born fully grown. They were powerful and had great, magical wings. There were 7 of them, but suddenly an 8th was born. The magical Birds were covered in what appeared to be a glistening seal of opalescence. They flapped their wings and pieces of opalescence dropped away, but most of it remained. The Birds hummed with radiance. They opened their eyes, and flew into the Sky.
Creation Goddess and Moon watched the Birds soar. Everything pulsed with the magic of their wings. The Birds flew back to the Goddess and the Moon. They all looked at each other and smiled, and the Birds began to sing. The Goddess and the Moon fell in love with their song. The Birds’ song touched the jewels of all beings seen and unseen, with a vast, iridescent love. And Moon rose from Goddess, lifted higher and higher by the Birds’ song. And the Birds flew beside Moon as she rose. Creation Goddess watched the Moon and the Birds rise higher and higher. She watched them move farther and farther across the Magnificent Oceans of Earth, and she danced upon the waves.
Creation Goddess saw the golden ray of a Star bubbling just beneath the surface of the Sea. She delighted in its warmth twinkling between her toes. The Goddess lay her hands in the ray, and watched as its starry flame grew fuller and brighter. Then all at once, the golden ray in its full, starry, radiant body leapt up through the Sea. It stood before her smiling, huge and shining, rocking back and forth on the waves. Golden Star was so happy to be born into this sapphire and emerald world! And the Goddess was so happy to see Golden Star! Goddess and Golden Star had always known each other, and were the closest of friends. Golden Star sang, Let’s play, Creation Goddess!
Creation Goddess and Golden Star began to skip and leap, twirl and whirl, laugh and sing upon the sapphire and emerald waves, radiating play everywhere. As they did, the Goddess saw more and more rays bubbling up from the Sea. Golden, silver, violet, turquoise, and magenta rays. She lay her hands in the rays and all at once, all the Stars in their full, starry, radiant, colorful bodies, leapt up through the Sea, smiling, huge and shining. Then, how the Stars and Creation Goddess did play together on the sapphire and emerald waves! They skipped and leaped, twirled and whirled, and then they flew like birds, dove like dolphins, became transparent as rainbows and small as starfish. They turned themselves into so many different forms, and it was the beauty of unseen beings whispering through them as they played, laughing and tickling each other upon the sapphire and emerald waves, radiating play everywhere!
Then came the moment when Creation Goddess and the Stars wanted to do something else. Something wondrous. They gathered in a circle. The Stars shone their warm, colored light upon the Goddess, and the Goddess received their light. The Goddess received the molten light of the Golden, Silver, Violet, Turquoise, and Magenta rays. And the light of the Stars and the light of the Goddess became one light in the jewel of her being. It became a succulent, moist, fertile, lush, molten jewel of many colors. It became a Radiance. A sacred lava of creation that did not burn, but inspired. This molten jewel began to melt…this sacred lava began to pour through the Goddess. Through the jewel of her being. It carried the seeds of unseen beings wanting to awaken and come alive. It poured through her hands as colorful, radiant light…a flowing river of radiance carrying many jewels, and the Goddess and the Stars embraced one of the jewels, the jewel of painting.I love you, they sang to the jewel of painting inside themselves, inside each other, inside all beings seen and unseen, and the jewel of painting awoke and came alive, and Creation Goddess and the Stars began to paint with this colorful, radiant light in the salty, foamy air, in the lapis lazuli Sky!
They painted silver and indigo Dolphins, amethyst and scarlet Starfish, magenta and orange Anemones, flowery purple Jelly Fish, golden Angel Fish, crimson pink Mollusks, coppery brown Sea Lions, turquoise and yellow Sea Horses, diamond and black Whales, Rainbows and Clouds, and they painted Radiant Dragons and the Fairies of Sea and Sky! And then, they painted Trees and Flowers, even though there was no place for Trees and Flowers to grow.
As they painted, each being awoke and came alive! Then, each being dove into the Sea, or flew into the Sky!
There came the moment when it was time for the Stars to rise, but they didn’t want to leave Creation Goddess, so Goddess and Stars sat together on the surface of the Sea in quiet, blissful peace. But when the Stars heard the song of the Sun and Moon singing softly in tune, they rose. Creation Goddess watched the Stars rise higher and higher in the lapis lazuli Sky. She watched them move north, south, east and west, farther and farther across the Magnificent Oceans of Earth.
Then, Creation Goddess lay down upon the waters, to rest.
Upon the waters Creation Goddess lay resting when she heard a loud, thunderous sound, and sat up. She listened to the sound of Earth’s heart beating, but not softly as before. Suddenly, the waves whirled, and the Radiant Being Sea, emerged. The waters became still again, but still the beating of Earth’s heart was very loud. Sea seemed bigger than before, and even more beautiful. Creation Goddess was so happy to see her. Divine, Radiant Mother! Creation Goddess sang. Sea’s bright, loving eyes sparkled, and her silvery hair braided with coral and pearls glowed. From her hands streamed rivers of fiery, emerald light. Sea’s voice was filled with excitement as she exclaimed, Earth is rising, my daughter! I will make you a gown!
Sea began to spin the rivers of emerald light streaming from her hands, weaving them around the Goddess so she would be clothed in the emerald light when the emerald Mountain rose. Sea spun and spun, she wove and wove, and the gown blossomed like the abundant petals of a flower blooming fiery, glistening, luscious emerald light.
As Earth’s heart beat louder and louder, and the waves rose higher and higher, Creation Goddess felt lighter and lighter. She rose into the air, and floated in the Sky. Sea wove her daughter’s gown in the Sky, but her feet were still on the floor of the Sea, so tall and strong, was she.
An emerald Mountain was being born. Earth was giving birth to one of her children. Giving birth to a Mountain the Goddess and the Radiant Beings had wandered on. A Mountain rich in emerald light that wanted to be born from the vast emerald fire of its mother’s womb. To see Sky, and feel Sun, and watch Moon and Stars! Earth’s heart was ablaze with love for her child. Her love was an abundance of magical, fiery hands lifting her child through the waters, illuminating her child’s way. And the Mountain rose through the Sea. The Mountain surrendered to the sapphire and emerald flow. It surrendered to its own magnificent power. There was a diamond crystal, the color of the sun, growing on its peak, and pearls, coral, conches and kauri glowing at its roots. And the Mountain rose, and then it paused.
Your gown is finished, my daughter! Sea told Creation Goddess. The Goddess floated back down to the waters. For a moment the waters became still. The Goddess stepped onto the tip of a Mountain peak where a diamond crystal, the color of the sun, sparkled. She sat upon the crystal in her radiant gown of fiery, emerald light. The waves began to rise, the wind to blow wild, Earth’s heart beat so very loud, and Sea cried to her child, Remember the pearl, my daughter! Then, Sea dove under the crashing waves, into the deep sapphire radiance of her realm, where Earth was calling her.
A wild wind kissed the waters, and the sapphire and emerald waves surged. They spiraled and swirled, and the Mountain rose higher and higher. The waves gushed in a stormy fountain on all sides of the diamond crystal where the Goddess sat. But, the waves didn’t touch her. Instead, they wove a dome around her. As the Mountain rose, and the waves crashed upon the rocks, and the wind blew wild, Creation Goddess stayed dry and warm. And the Mountain lifted her higher and higher.
The Goddess knew the powers of the Radiant Beings of creation were unleashed, and she sat upon the crystal in the center of the sacred storm of birth. And the Goddess saw the jewels of creation exploding in ecstasies of color and movement and song, and she sat upon the crystal and raised her arms to the Sky. And the Mountain lifted her higher and higher.
The Mountain rose higher and higher looking for its kindred Radiant Beings, Sky, Sun, Moon and Stars. When it was high enough in the salty foamy air, in the lapis lazuli Sky, it saw them and smiled, and became still. This is where I will be, the Mountain said. And the waters became still, and Earth’s heart beat softly again. But the Mountain’s heart did not beat softly. For the emerald light dreaming in its core awoke and came alive, and began to pulse loudly. A rich, undulant sea of fiery, emerald light began to fountain. To cascade from its labyrinthine caves out onto the rocks where coppery brown sea lions rocked, and crimson pink mollusks dreamed. This emerald light surged upwards through crevices, openings, cracks, fissures, holes, bathing the Mountain till it reached the Goddess where she sat, and bathed her feet.
Creation Goddess heard the flapping of wings in the Sky. She rose from the crystal and walked to the edge of the Mountain, and saw the first Birds soaring over the Sea! She watched the Birds fly nearer and nearer. The 8 Birds arrived on the Mountain, and the Goddess and the Birds stood quietly gazing into each other’s eyes. Then, Creation Goddess embraced the Birds as a mother embraces her children, for they had been born from a jewel she carried. She had seen them awaken and come alive in the opalescent light that had poured from her, as she cradled the Moon. But as she was enveloped by their great, magical wings, she knew them to be God and Goddess Beings, just like her. Just like her, they had journeyed in the infinite invisible, timeless space looking for the planet where their jewels could awaken and come alive. And they had found her. She had been for the Birds their portal of swirling colors in which to dive into the Magnificent Oceans of Earth, and receive radiant bodies, visible jewels. Just as she, Creation Goddess, had received the form of Divine Feminine Woman, as she breathed the waters in, they had received the forms of Birds, as they breathed in Sky.
When the Birds were first born, they had hummed with radiance. But now, they were even more beautiful. They were transformed. The glistening seal of opalescence that had covered them was gone, and now she could see their true, profuse, magical beauty. The Goddess thought, I could only possibly seek to describe the Birds’ magnificent, divinely formed wings, the colors of their feathers, the wisdom shining in their eyes, their beautiful sounds, through a dance, a song, a story, a poem, or a painting!
Creation Goddess and the Birds sat in a circle, and the Birds told her their story. They told her how the seal of opalescence was something they’d only needed for a while, and that it had naturally fallen from them as they flew. They told her, As soon as we were born we knew there was something we needed to do. We knew it in our wings! We knew we needed to fly to the 4 directions and give to each one the beautiful sounds to open portals! When you dove through the sapphire and emerald door, that was the only portal, but now there are 4 more. We knew we needed to do this before the first dances, songs, stories, poems, and paintings could begin! We want to dance many dances with you, sing many songs, write many stories and poems, paint many paintings! We are so happy to be here with you, and the Mountain. We’ve come to co-create with you, Creation Goddess!
Tears fell down Creation Goddess’ cheeks and she said, Thank you for returning to me. Thank you for singing your beautiful sounds and opening portals! Then, she remembered the pearl Sea had given her, and took it from behind her ear. She planted it in the earth beside the crystal, and they watched as it was bathed in fiery, emerald light. The Goddess and the Birds stood quietly, feeling the Mountain, feeling the emerald light, feeling each other. Then, the Birds began to sing, and the Goddess sang with the Birds, and she didn’t know how she knew the song, but she did. Creation Goddess and the first Birds stood together singing in a circle at the top of the Mountain, and watched the pearl grow.
